MRT 4 Live Stream

MRT 4 is a public television service of Macedonian Radio-Television (MRT), the national public broadcaster of North Macedonia. The channel was introduced in 2020 as the home for television programmes in languages of communities other than Macedonian and Albanian. Its role is to give these communities dedicated space within the public broadcaster’s schedule.

Programming for diverse communities

MRT 4 carries programmes in Turkish, Serbian, Romani, Vlach (Aromanian) and Bosnian, among other minority-community languages. The service brings together output that previously aired on MRT 2; that channel now focuses on Albanian-language programming. News, cultural coverage and other programmes reflect the communities served, while the exact schedule varies by day and language.

Part of the public broadcaster

MRT 4 belongs to the wider Macedonian Radio-Television network, which includes general, Albanian-language, sports, children’s and parliamentary television services, as well as satellite channels. The broadcaster’s online platform, MRT Play, provides live and on-demand content; availability of an individual channel stream may depend on location and service conditions. MRT 4’s public-service remit is to represent North Macedonia’s linguistic and cultural diversity.
