BR Fernsehen Nord Live Stream

BR Fernsehen Nord is the northern Bavarian window of BR Fernsehen, the television channel of Bayerischer Rundfunk, carrying regional news and programming for Franconia from Munich and Nuremberg. Viewers who watch TV online can follow the channel live anywhere.

Bavaria's Public Television

BR Fernsehen is the television channel of Bayerischer Rundfunk, Bavaria's public broadcaster and a member of the ARD network. The channel broadcasts with regional windows for Bavaria's north and south: the Nord window serves Franconia - Nuremberg, Würzburg, Bamberg and the northern districts - with its own regional editions.

Frankenschau and the Bavarian Grid

The schedule combines the Bavaria-wide grid with the regional news windows for the north: the Frankenschau covering Franconia's life. Documentaries on Bavarian culture and history, talk and magazine programs and entertainment formats fill the day alongside the ARD network's shared programming.

Franconia's Window

The grid mixes regional news with Bavarian culture and tradition programs, nature and travel documentaries on the state's landscapes and event coverage of the occasions of Bavarian public life. The Franconian editions are the north's own window on the state channel.

The Public Broadcaster

Programs are made by the BR's Munich headquarters and its Franconian studios, part of one of Germany's largest public broadcasting operations within the ARD. The channel works under the public-service remit for Bavaria.

Franconia's Public Window

BR Fernsehen live streaming keeps the Bavarian channel on screen at any hour - live television from Munich and Nuremberg in German.
