NDR Fernsehen Live Stream

NDR Fernsehen is the television channel of Norddeutscher Rundfunk, the public broadcaster for Hamburg, Lower Saxony, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Schleswig-Holstein. Viewers who watch TV online can follow the channel live anywhere.

Public Broadcasting for the North

NDR, based in Hamburg, is the public broadcaster of northern Germany and a member of the ARD network. Its television channel combines the regional program for the four northern states with national ARD productions, documentaries and entertainment from the Hamburg studios.

Four States, One Screen

The schedule is anchored by regional news editions - with windows for each of the four states - and the evening magazine programs. Daytime carries service and consumer shows, garden and cooking programs and documentaries, while prime time brings drama series, quiz shows, talk formats and the channel's documentary premieres.

The North on Film

The grid combines news and current affairs with the channel's well-known regional magazines and docu-soaps following the lives of fishermen, farmers and island communities along the North and Baltic seas. Maritime documentaries on the coasts and shipping are a signature of the northern broadcaster, and ARD national programs fill the shared slots.

The Hamburg Studios

Programs are made in Hamburg and the state capitals of Hanover, Schwerin and Kiel. The channel's presenters are household names across the north, and its regional newsrooms cover the four states district by district.

From Hamburg to the Coasts

NDR live streaming keeps the regional channel on screen at any hour - public television for Germany's four northern states.
