NTV News Live Stream

NTV News is the news operation of NTV, the St. John's, Newfoundland station known as Canada's Superstation - one of the country's oldest private broadcasters, serving the island and Labrador since 1955.

Newfoundland's Own Newsroom

The grid is built on NTV News: evening newscasts covering Newfoundland and Labrador from St. John's to Labrador City, national and international reports from the station's Superstation reach, and the weather coverage of the North Atlantic a province of storms and fog relies on. Local stories lead - the fishery, the oil industry, the province's politics and the community events of a place with a news culture all its own.

Canada's Superstation

CJON signed on in 1955 as one of Canada's first private stations, and its Superstation identity made NTV part of the national dial - a Newfoundland voice carried across the country, with a newsroom that has covered the province through every era since Confederation-era broadcasting began on the Rock.

The Rock in View

NTV News's live stream carries the station's newscasts and coverage to viewers across the province and the country - Newfoundland's own news, from St. John's to wherever Newfoundlanders have landed.
