NTV Live Stream

NTV is a nationwide Turkish news channel founded in 1996 as part of the Nergis Group. It was Turkey’s first television channel devoted to news. In January 1999, NTV joined Doğuş Media Group, a change that helped establish the thematic news-channel format in the country. Its headquarters are in Istanbul, and its reporting covers events in Turkey as well as international developments.

A broad news agenda

The channel’s official website organizes its coverage into sections including Gündem (Current Affairs), Türkiye, Dünya (World), NTV Para (Finance), Yaşam (Life), Spor&Skor (Sports & Scores), technology, automobiles and education. These headings describe the subjects viewers can follow across its news service; the site also publishes breaking-news reports and video news.

More than breaking news

NTV’s programming has included reporting and discussion alongside documentaries and programmes about finance, arts and culture, lifestyle and sport. The mix connects daily headlines with topics that require context, such as economic developments, cultural events and sporting competitions. Coverage changes with the news agenda, so the official website is the place to check for current stories and programme information.

Watching NTV online

The NTV website displays a “Canlı İzle” (“Watch Live”) option. Viewers looking for NTV as online television can use the broadcaster’s own service to check live availability, while its news pages provide reports and video items. NTV HD is the channel’s high-definition simulcast, launched in 2016. Availability of a live feed may depend on location and platform.
