C News (CNews) is a French national news channel, part of the Canal+ group. Launched as i-Télé in 1999 and renamed CNews in February 2017, the channel is the second most-watched news channel in France, behind BFM TV and ahead of LCI and France Info.

Viewers follow C News for national and international news, political debates, economics, sport and culture.

C News Programs

The channel's day opens with the morning programme La Matinale, followed by the midday news block Midi News.

L'Heure des Pros is the channel's flagship debate programme, hosted by Pascal Praud, with commentators and political figures discussing the day's current affairs.

Face à l'Info is the evening debate programme, with a panel of columnists dissecting the news.

Other programmes include Le Dessous de l'info, long hosted by Gérard Leclerc, En Quête d'Esprit, En Quête de Solutions, L'Avenir en Question, Ça se dispute and the weekly C L'Hebdo.

From i-Télé to CNews

C News is a national news channel in France, owned by the Canal+ group, a subsidiary of Vivendi. The channel was launched as i-Télé on 4 November 1999 and was renamed CNews on 27 February 2017.

The channel is available free of charge on DTT, cable and satellite across France.
