Hậu Giang TV (HGTV) is the provincial television station of Hậu Giang, in Vietnam's Mekong Delta, operated under the provincial People's Committee. It serves the province with news, entertainment and cultural programming produced for the local audience.

A provincial voice

As the press organ of the province, the station's journalism covers the administration, the economy and the daily life of the delta - from rice farming and floating markets to the province's new infrastructure. Its cultural and entertainment programming gives space to local talent and to the traditions of the Mekong south.

The channel's identity includes a distinctive sign-on ritual: each broadcast day opens with an instrumental piece - the station's "soundtrack" - followed by the station's signature phrase read by announcers.
