NTV Live Stream
NTV (এনটিভি) is a Bangladeshi Bengali-language satellite and cable television channel based in the BSEC Building in Karwan Bazar, Dhaka. Owned by International Television Channel Limited and chaired by the businessman and former BNP vice-president Mosaddek Ali Falu, it launched in July 2003 and is one of Bangladesh's most popular television channels.
From Ten TV to NTV
The license was first granted to Sajjat Ali in September 1999 under the name Ten TV; Mosaddek Ali acquired it in January 2003, and after the closure of Ekushey Television left a gap in private broadcasting, NTV announced its arrival with a CNN partnership and - a first for a Bangladeshi channel - real-time graphics from Beehive Systems. Test transmissions ran for a week before official broadcasts began on 3 July 2003; initially on air eight hours a day, the channel moved to a full-day schedule on 1 January 2004.
News Around the Clock
NTV's newsroom produces bulletins throughout the day - morning, noon, afternoon, evening, night and midnight editions, plus the Shironam headline service - covering Bangladesh and the world, sport, entertainment, economy, education, religion and law. The channel runs dedicated editions for the diaspora: NTV Europe, NTV Malaysia, NTV UAE, NTV Australia and NTV Connect.
