Global Buddhist Network Live Stream
The Global Buddhist Network (GBN) is a Buddhist television channel broadcasting teaching, meditation and ceremony from Thailand to an international audience. Rooted in the Dhammakaya tradition and associated with Wat Phra Dhammakaya in Pathum Thani, the network presents the Dhamma in multiple languages through dedicated feeds for Thai, English and Chinese-speaking viewers.
Teaching, Meditation and Chanting
The schedule centers on Dhamma talks delivered by ordained monks, guided sessions in Dhammakaya meditation, and the recitation of Pali suttas, including the Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta, the Buddha's first discourse. Chanting, merit-making ceremonies and recordings of major temple festivals give the channel a devotional rhythm, while teaching series aimed at families and younger viewers, such as the Dhamma-education program presented in a classroom format, make the material accessible to lay audiences.
A Network Built for a Global Sangha
GBN operates several parallel channels and language feeds so that the same teachings reach viewers in Thailand and abroad. The United States feed, branded GBNUS, serves North American audiences, while satellite and internet distribution carry the signal to Buddhist communities worldwide. Programming runs around the clock, moving from morning chanting and meditation through daytime Dhamma talks to evening ceremonies and reruns.
Continuous Broadcasting
As a linear channel, GBN flows from one program to the next throughout the day rather than offering isolated on-demand clips, so chanting, teaching and ceremony follow one another continuously. The same schedule is distributed online as a live stream, extending the temple's broadcast beyond its terrestrial and satellite footprint.
