Rouge TV Live Stream

Rouge TV - since September 2023 known as carac1 - is a private entertainment television channel of French-speaking Switzerland. Launched by Groupe Rouge on 18 November 2008, it was the first private channel in Suisse romande and broadcasts in HD across the whole country, targeting the 25-59 audience.

Programming

What began as a music channel grew into a mini-generalist built around cinema: by 2015 the channel was airing around 85 films a month - more than 2,000 a year - with two films every weekday evening and, from 2014, an afternoon film as well. It was the first channel to show the series Painkiller Jane in Suisse romande, broadcast the Swiss Music Awards, the Mister and Miss Suisse pageants, and has carried the Paléo Festival de Nyon, Zurich's Street Parade and the Montreux Jazz Festival.

Becoming carac1

In 2023 the channel was taken over by the rival Geneva-based Media One group - owner of One TV, LFM TV and TV Suisse Plus - which renamed its four channels under the carac brand: Rouge TV became carac1 in September 2023, remaining on the same channels with the new home carac.tv for live and replay viewing.
