TV Total Vaslui is a local television channel serving Vaslui county in eastern Romania. Its newsroom produces local news and weather, while its outside broadcasts bring the county's public life to the screen - from village days and fairs to religious celebrations and school events.

The county on screen

Recent weeks in the channel's output are typical of its mission: the Ziua Gospodarului celebration in Ivănești, the Festivalul Vânătorilor at Lunca Banului, the Constantin Tănase humour festival with its pantomime and clowning show, the Romanian Village Day at Cozmești and the day of Puiești commune, the consecration of the wooden church at Mălinești monastery, and reports on infrastructure such as the modernised DJ 244 D county road. City events in Vaslui itself - from Expo Zoo to the firefighters' day - are equally covered.

Test broadcasts and studio rehearsals - the channel's "Probe" segments - sit alongside the finished reports, giving viewers a look at how local television is made.

The channel streams its live events online and keeps a full video archive of its county reporting on its official YouTube channel, making Vaslui's local life accessible to viewers beyond the county's borders.
