A&R Canal Live Stream

A&R Canal is a Panamanian television channel serving the Seventh-day Adventist community, broadcasting in Spanish. Its YouTube handle names it plainly - Canal Adventista - and its programming follows the Adventist pattern of worship, study and health.

What the channel carries

The schedule is built around the elements Adventist broadcasting has made its own: services and preaching, Bible study and prophetic teaching, programmes on health and lifestyle, and music. The church's emphasis on the Sabbath shapes the week's rhythm, with the Saturday service as the centre and preparation for it running through Friday.

A church that broadcasts

The Adventist church in Panama, like the church worldwide, treats media as part of its mission. Local congregations produce services and teaching for their members and for the communities around them, and channels such as A&R Canal carry that material beyond the building - to members who cannot attend and to viewers who are simply curious about the church's message.

Watching

The channel broadcasts in standard definition and streams online, and its programmes are published on its video channel. For Adventist viewers in Panama and the Panamanian diaspora, it offers a service in their own language and in the idiom of their church.
