Iraqi General HD Live Stream

Iraqia General is the general-entertainment channel of the Iraqi Media Network, Iraq's public broadcaster. Its stated remit combines entertainment, information and education, and it addresses a broad national audience rather than a single region or community.

The network's other services split along language and subject lines — news, Kurdish, sports, Syriac and Turkmen — so the general channel is where the mixed schedule sits.

Culture, religion and children's programming

The programme mix covers culture and the arts, religious content, women's and children's programmes, and youth output, together with coverage of national and religious occasions marked by the country's different communities.

Sport and public events

Sport and important political developments are carried under the same general remit, which places community and public-interest subjects alongside entertainment.

One channel in a multi-language network

Alongside Iraqia General, the network operates Iraqi News, Iraqi Kurdish, Iraqi Sports, Syriac and Turkmen services, a structure that reflects the country's linguistic map while leaving the general channel to carry the broadest schedule.
