Imam Hussein TV 4 Live Stream

Imam Hussein TV 4 is the Urdu-language channel of the Imam Hussein Media Group. Urdu is the language in which the school of the Ahl al-Bayt is taught across Pakistan, northern India and the diaspora, and the channel serves that audience with the group's programming in their own tongue.

What the channel carries

The schedule is built on the forms of Urdu religious broadcasting: majalis and the recitation that accompanies them, lectures by scholars on doctrine and on the history of Karbala, teaching on practice, and coverage of Muharram and Arba'een as they are observed across South Asia. The register is the one the audience knows from its own gatherings rather than a translation of the Arabic output.

Part of a network

The Imam Hussein Media Group runs a family of Shia channels in seven languages - Persian, Arabic, English, Urdu, Turkish, a live service and the Shia Waves news outlet - working from Karbala and broadcasting by satellite and online.

Watching

The channel broadcasts by satellite and streams from the group's own server at ur.imamhossaintv.com, and its programmes are published on its video channel.
