FarmodaTV Live Stream

FarmodaTV is a Kurdish-language religious channel broadcasting from Iraq. It works in the Kurdish language of the region, transmits in high definition, and is followed online through its live stream.

Kurdish religious broadcasting

The Kurdish areas of Iraq have their own television landscape, with regional channels serving the Kurdistan Region and the Kurdish-speaking communities beyond it. Religious broadcasters within that landscape work in Kurdish rather than Arabic, which matters for an audience that follows the faith in its own language, and their programming follows the calendars and customs of the region's own religious life.

What the channel carries

The channel's output is devotional and instructional: teaching on doctrine and practice, lectures and sermons, recitation and religious music, and coverage of the observances of the religious year. Its schedule runs continuously, so a viewer can join at any hour.

Watching

FarmodaTV transmits in 1080p high definition and streams through the Host247 platform, which carries a number of regional broadcasters. Its programmes are aimed at Kurdish-speaking viewers in Iraq and in the diaspora.
