Zainabia Channel Live Stream

Zainabia Channel is an Indian Shia Islamic channel working from Mumbai. It broadcasts in Urdu, English, Hindi and Gujarati, which reflects the linguistic reality of the city's Shia community and of the wider Indian Shia population.

What the channel carries

The schedule is built on the forms of Indian Shia religious life: majalis and the recitation that accompanies them above all, with lectures by scholars, teaching on doctrine and jurisprudence, and the observances of the calendar. Nanhe Azadar, one of its own programme strands, is made for children - a deliberate investment in the next generation, and a reminder that the channel serves whole families rather than only adults.

A city's community on screen

India has one of the larger Shia populations in the world, spread across Lucknow, Hyderabad, Mumbai and the towns of Gujarat and the Deccan, and each region has its own devotional idiom. A channel working in four languages serves that diversity at once, and its site publishes a programme guide, a gallery, information for advertisers and a way to take part.

Watching

Zainabia Channel broadcasts in standard definition and streams from its own server at zainabia.livebox.co.in, with a live section on its site. Its programmes are also published on its video channel.
