SVBC 2 Live Stream

SVBC 2 is the Tamil-language service of Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel, the television network of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams. It carries the worship of the Tirumala temple and the devotional repertoire of Tamil Nadu to Tamil-speaking viewers.

Why Tamil

Tamil Nadu sends a large share of Tirumala's pilgrims, and the Tamil bhakti tradition - the songs of the Alvars, the Thevaram hymns, the temple music of the south - has its own place in the shrine's life. A dedicated Tamil service lets viewers follow the temple's worship and the Tamil devotional repertoire in their own language rather than in Telugu.

What the channel carries

The schedule follows the parent network: the daily worship and sevas at Tirumala, the processions and festivals, discourses on Vaishnava teaching, and devotional music performed in Tamil. Coverage of TTD's institutions and of the temple's calendar forms the rest.

Watching

SVBC 2 broadcasts in standard definition by satellite and streams through the network's own player, with its programmes also published on its video channel.
