ESA Web TV online - Television live
ESA Web TV Live Stream
ESA Web TV is the official web television service of the European Space Agency, carrying the agency's missions to a global online audience. It is the screen on which Europe's space programme is watched: launches, dockings, spacewalks and the science that comes back from orbit.
The European Space Agency on Screen
The European Space Agency, established in 1975 and headquartered in Paris, coordinates the space programmes of its member states. ESA Web TV carries that work live: launch coverage from the Guiana Space Centre at Kourou, mission events from the agency's operations centre at ESOC in Darmstadt, and briefings from the research establishment at ESTEC in the Netherlands.
Launches, Missions and Astronauts
The schedule is built around the mission calendar: Ariane and Vega launches, rendezvous and docking operations at the International Space Station, and spacewalk coverage with live commentary from mission control. Press briefings bring ESA's director general, mission scientists and ESA astronauts to the camera, and documentary features cover flagship missions - the Rosetta comet rendezvous, the ExoMars programme and the Copernicus Earth-observation satellites among them.
Space for the Public
Beyond live operations, ESA Web TV carries educational programming produced for schools and the general public - the agency's effort to bring European space exploration to anyone with a connection. The service streams online and through the agency's platforms, part of ESA's public mission alongside the rockets themselves.
