OM TV Live Stream

OM TV is a Tamil-language devotional channel. Its schedule is built on temple devotion: the aarti sung at the shrine, bhakti songs old and new, and the discourses that explain the practice behind them.

What the channel carries

The day follows the devotional year and the temple clock: morning and evening aartis, bhakti and Carnatic devotional music, coverage of temple festivals and processions, and programmes on the lives of the saints and on the places of pilgrimage in Tamil Nadu. The register is local - the temples and singers its audience knows rather than a national playlist.

A crowded but distinct market

Tamil devotional television is one of the busier corners of Indian broadcasting, with channels serving every major tradition and many smaller ones. A channel sustains itself by knowing its audience: which temples, which performers, which festivals matter to the viewers it serves, and OM TV works within that logic.

Watching

OM TV broadcasts in standard definition on Indian platforms and streams through the Tango TV infrastructure used by its operator. Its programmes are also published on its video channel.
