MH One Shraddha Live Stream

MH One Shraddha is the devotional channel of the MH One network, the Indian broadcaster whose other services cover news, music and entertainment. It works in Hindi and its subject is the worship of Vaishno Devi, the shrine above Katra in Jammu.

What the channel carries

The schedule is built on the pilgrimage: the aarti at the shrine, bhajan and kirtan in the Vaishno Devi repertoire, dharma katha - the narration of the Devi's story and of the scripture that surrounds it - and yatra coverage of the pilgrimage itself, its routes and seasons. Programmes on fasting, vows and the observances of Navratri complete the grid.

A shrine with a national following

Vaishno Devi receives millions of pilgrims a year and is one of the most visited shrines in India, which is why a channel devoted to it can sustain a full schedule. Its audience spans the north of the country and the diaspora, and much of that audience cannot travel to Katra every year - the channel is how they keep the connection between visits.

Watching

MH One Shraddha broadcasts in standard definition on Indian platforms and streams through the Tango TV infrastructure, with a live section and programme sections on its site. Its programmes are also published on its video channel.
