DMI TV Live Stream

DMI TV is the official television service of Dewan Masjid Indonesia, the national body that coordinates mosque administration across the country. The channel is built around the practical life of mosques: their management, their programmes and the communities that gather in them.

It was established under the council's chairman, H. M. Jusuf Kalla, and began broadcasting from Jakarta on 12 April 2019. Production later moved to a studio at the Dewan Masjid Indonesia headquarters, with the channel running its own editorial team.

Reports on Mosques and Community Work

The news output follows the council itself: provincial and district mosque boards, welfare schemes, waqf and the everyday administration of prayer houses. Reports range from disputes over local DMI leadership to national meetings of the organisation.

Beyond institutional news, the channel covers community initiatives run through mosques, including youth programmes, disaster relief and support for pre-school education. Inspirational stories from across the archipelago form a regular part of the schedule.

Ceramah and Qur'an Teaching

Studio production includes interactive ceramah sessions with DMI figures, covering the social role of the mosque and the economic empowerment of congregations. Qur'an study editions present recitation and tafsir with the council's general secretary.

Mosque management is treated as a subject in its own right, with lectures on administration, standards and staffing aimed at the people who run local prayer houses. Early childhood education, organised through the council's kindergarten body, also receives airtime.

Where to Find the Channel

DMI TV has been carried on the Nin Media cable platform and distributes a continuous feed through its own website, where news articles and studio videos are published alongside the broadcast.
