MTA8 America online - Television live

MTA8 America Live Stream

MTA8 America is one of the channels of MTA International, the television service of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. The number identifies a regional feed, in this case one directed at audiences in the Americas, and its schedule is built from the community's own religious output.

Friday Sermons and Qur'an Recitation

The Friday sermon delivered by the community's spiritual leader, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, is the anchor of the week, carried with translation into several languages. Tilawat recordings of Qur'an recitation follow the prayers, with selected passages read by trained reciters.

Devotional and teaching programmes explain the beliefs and practices of the community, and question-and-answer formats let viewers put religious matters to scholars.

Jalsa and Community Events

MTA covers the community's annual conventions in full, including Jalsa Salana gatherings in the United Kingdom, Germany and other countries, together with national ijtemas of the Khuddam and Ansar auxiliaries. The concluding sessions, addressed by the Khalifa, are broadcast live and repeated.

Language and Current Affairs

The channel carries separate audio tracks in Urdu, English, French and German, so the same pictures can be followed in the viewer's own language. Documentary series examine the lives of the prophets and the history of the community, while news segments address current events from a religious perspective.

Where to Watch

MTA8 America is available through the MTA website and its apps, alongside the other MTA channels, and the same programmes are published on the network's video archive.
