NTD TV English UK Live Stream

NTD TV English UK is the British feed of New Tang Dynasty Television, prepared for audiences in the United Kingdom. It carries English-language reporting on China and world affairs together with documentaries and cultural programming, in a schedule arranged for the British clock.

NTD, New Tang Dynasty Television, is a multilingual American broadcaster founded in 2001 by adherents of Falun Gong and based in New York City. It started as a Chinese-language service and launched its twenty-four-hour English channel in July 2020, broadcasting in the United States and the United Kingdom. The station belongs to the Epoch Media Group, the consortium that also includes The Epoch Times, whose outlets have promoted conspiracy theories including QAnon, anti-vaccine misinformation and false claims of fraud in the 2020 American election.

Editorially the station promotes traditional Chinese culture and western classical arts, and it devotes extensive coverage to human rights in China, scrutinising abuses of power by the Chinese Communist Party. The name invokes the Tang dynasty, which the company presents as a golden age of Chinese spirituality and civilisation. Programming mixes news bulletins, interviews, documentaries and cultural features.

The separate feed reflects the station's expansion beyond North America: the English channel was launched in July 2020 with coverage of the United States and the United Kingdom, and regional windows allow the network to serve viewers in each country at the hours they are watching.

Access

The UK feed is delivered over the internet in high definition at 640 by 360 pixels and thirty frames per second, and it is carried by streaming platforms and by the network's own applications.
