RT Arabic Live Stream
RT Arabic, known on air as Rusiya Al-Yaum, is the Arabic-language service of the RT network. It was launched in 2007 as the second language edition of the Russian state-funded broadcaster, following the English channel that began in 2005, and it broadcasts around the clock from Moscow.
Bulletins and the Middle East desk
The schedule follows the model of the parent network: rolling news bulletins, reports from correspondents, studio interviews and discussion programmes. Coverage concentrates on the Middle East and North Africa alongside Russian affairs and international events, with the Russian perspective on the conflicts and diplomacy of the region presented as the channel's distinguishing angle.
Magazine and documentary slots fill the intervals, and the service produces material in Arabic rather than dubbing the English output, with its own presenters, guests and editorial team.
Distribution
RT Arabic is carried by satellite across the Arab world and streams continuously through the network's own platforms, where the DVR feed offers a full day of rewind. Its material is also published through the RT website and social accounts in Arabic.
Regulation
Like the rest of the network, RT Arabic has been the subject of regulatory action. The European Union banned RT's broadcasting in 2022, and independent providers in a number of countries suspended carriage, so reception outside Russia now depends on satellite footprints and online relays rather than on conventional pay television in those markets.
