Informatia TV is a Romanian local television service based in Satu Mare, in the north-west of the country, and works alongside the daily newspaper Informația Zilei, the county's own title. The station operates from Mircea del Bătrân street in the city and covers local affairs across the county.

Newsroom and Coverage

The channel's journalism follows the sections of its partner newspaper: locale for municipal and village reporting, politic for the county council and the parties, economic for business and the labour market, and sport for local clubs. Editorials and opinion sit alongside the news, and cultural and community events are covered as they happen.

Because the town is close to the borders with Hungary and Ukraine, cross-border trade, transport and the concerns of the region's communities appear regularly in the output.

Broadcasting

Informatia TV is carried on cable networks in Satu Mare and the surrounding area, and it streams online through the newspaper's site, where a dedicated live page carries the signal. Recordings and reports are also published on its YouTube channel.

The service is produced in Romanian for a local audience, with the same editorial team supplying both the broadcast and the written news.

Audience

The channel addresses residents of Satu Mare county and the many people from the region working elsewhere in Europe, who follow local news online. Its purpose is practical: to report decisions that affect daily life in the county, from infrastructure and schools to health services and local business.
