Capital TV Live Stream

Capital TV is a Pakistani national news channel that presents itself among the country's leading broadcasters. Its stated aim is to inform viewers through quality analysis from journalists in Pakistan and abroad, and the schedule is built around current affairs rather than around entertainment alone.

The channel describes its output as a variety of programmes with a special focus on current affairs and politics, together with sport, entertainment, health, technology, food and lifestyle.

News and Current Affairs

Bulletins and breaking-news segments carry the day's developments from Pakistan and the region, with correspondents covering Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Parliamentary coverage includes sessions of the National Assembly and the Senate, and press conferences are carried as they happen.

Talk programmes bring journalists and analysts into the studio to examine a single subject at length, with discussion of the major parties and figures in national politics. Media talk segments review how other outlets have handled the same stories.

Sport and Lifestyle

Sport has a place in the schedule, with coverage of cricket internationals and domestic competitions, while lifestyle programming deals with food, health and technology. Special editions accompany major speeches and political events.

Audience

Capital TV distributes its bulletins through its own website and a substantial video operation on YouTube, where the channel lists around 3.45 million subscribers and more than two billion views. That archive makes the channel's coverage available long after transmission, and it is the main way viewers outside Pakistan follow the output.
