Radio Ancon Live Stream

Radio Ancón is a Panamanian news and sport broadcaster with national coverage, on air since 15 August 1990. The station combines journalism with sports reporting, and its studio output is carried as a live video broadcast alongside its FM frequencies across Panama.

Founded to strengthen a young democracy

Ancón began transmitting in the year of Panama's post-invasion reconstruction, and from the start set itself the task of strengthening democracy in that period. Over three decades the station has outlasted the country's political changes, building a reputation for what it describes as truth, versatility and transparency, and for hosting inclusive debate on political and social questions rather than avoiding them.

Journalism and sport

The schedule mixes news bulletins, current-affairs analysis and sport. Ponte Al Día is among the station's regular news programmes, while its sports desk follows both Panamanian competitions and the international fixtures that draw audiences in the country. Reporting from the newsroom covers government decisions, environmental and economic stories, and cultural events — the station gave prominent coverage, for example, to the honours received by Panamanian singer-songwriter Rubén Blades.

Ancón reaches listeners on 100.5 FM in the capital, 102.7 FM in Colón, 92.3 FM in the central provinces and 92.1 FM in Chiriquí and Bocas del Toro, a network that gives it one of the widest footprints among Panamanian stations. Its digital expansion — online streaming, video from the studio and social platforms — has extended that reach to Panamanians abroad.
