Altaghier TV is an Arabic language satellite news channel broadcasting from Amman, Jordan, with a focus on Iraqi affairs. Its official profile describes political, economic, social and sports coverage of Iraq, the Arab region and the wider world. The channel says its editorial work supports civic peace, an inclusive civil state and respect for Iraq's diverse communities.

Broadcasting from Amman for Iraq

The broadcaster's official About page identifies its base in Amman and says its news and programmes target Iraqi audiences wherever they live. This gives the station a regional perspective: reports focus on Iraq while also following events across the Arab region and internationally. Its mission statement presents the channel as independent and places public interest at the center of its editorial work.

News bulletins and regional coverage

The official site organizes current reporting under Iraq news, Arab and world news, economy, sport, culture and video reports. It highlights regular bulletins including Al Hassad and Nashrat Al Thalitha, alongside coverage of political and social developments. This structure moves between daily events and broader stories from the region.

Political discussions and interviews

Political programming includes From Baghdad, Ras Al Satr and Laabat Al Nufudh, with additional titles such as Fi Sab'a Ayyam, Washington Podcast and Hadith Al Sahafa. The official programme menu gives these shows a place alongside the channel's news bulletins and reports.

Sport, documentaries and special reports

The channel lists Malaeb among its sports programmes and offers documentary and variety titles such as Radar 360, Awraq Matwiya and Mawaqef. Together with its news service, the programme menu covers politics, sport, culture and social questions.

Editorial mission

Altaghier describes its values as independence and neutrality. It says its journalism should respect ethnic and religious pluralism while promoting peaceful change and Iraqi identity. These stated aims frame the channel's reporting and programme choices for viewers following Iraq, the Arab world and international affairs.
