News 24 MP & Chhattisgarh is a Hindi-language news channel serving the central Indian states of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. It is the regional edition of the News24 network, the 24-hour Hindi news broadcaster launched in 2007 by B.A.G. Films and Media, the media group promoted by Anurradha Prasad.

A Regional Voice of the News24 Network

The parent channel has been on air since 2007 as a free-to-air national news service, with the group headquartered at Film City in Noida. The regional offshoot carries the network's journalistic model into central India, combining national headlines with news produced specifically for viewers in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

Politics and District Reporting

The channel's newsroom follows government decisions and political developments in the state capitals — Bhopal and Raipur — and tracks municipal affairs in cities such as Indore. District stories that rarely make national television receive regular attention, as do elections, strikes and law-and-order developments across both states.

Farmers, Workers and Everyday Issues

Agriculture features prominently in the channel's coverage, from paddy procurement dues owed to Chhattisgarh's farmers to dearness allowance decisions affecting state employees in Madhya Pradesh. The reporting keeps a steady focus on the everyday concerns of the region's towns and villages.

Debates and Ground Reports

Alongside its news bulletins, the channel produces discussion formats built around local concerns. Madhya Pradesh Ka Bhavishya brings politicians, doctors and engineers together to debate a town's development, Aap Ki Baat takes up the everyday grievances of citizens, and Kya Haal Hai sends reporters into districts such as Ashoknagar to document conditions on the ground.
