The station went on air on 19 March 2007 under the call sign DWRW-TV, and today transmits digitally on UHF channel 36 as DWRW-DTV, operating daily from 8:00 AM to 9:30 PM.

A Station for Seven Provinces

CLTV36's coverage reaches all seven provinces of Central Luzon - Pampanga, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Bataan, Tarlac, Zambales and Aurora - with a signal that also carries into parts of Metro Manila, the Ilocos Region, the Cordilleras and Calabarzon. Its transmitter site at Clark Freeport Zone was inaugurated in 2015.

News and Infotainment Programming

Since 2008 the station has concentrated on news and infotainment. Its own programs include Balen At Balita, Perspektiba, Bawal ing Tsismis kang Sonia Soto and Nánu Pa Ta?, alongside current-affairs and magazine formats. The station pioneered extensive rolling coverage of national and local elections and of the natural disasters - typhoons and northeast monsoons - that regularly affect the region.

Entertainment programming arrived in 2013 with the Star Mill Talent Search. Since 2007 CLTV36 has been the official broadcaster of San Fernando's Giant Lantern Festival each December, and since 2015 of the United Central Luzon Athletic Association games. The station has been named Best Local TV Station by the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas and was the country's leading free-to-air regional channel in AGB Nielsen's survey for two consecutive years.
