CVR News is the flagship Telugu-language news channel of the CVR media group, broadcasting from Hyderabad. On air since 20 September 2012, it serves the news audience of the Telugu-speaking states with regional and national coverage around the clock.

Telangana and Andhra Pradesh coverage

Viewers follow CVR News for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh news, Hyderabad city coverage, politics, crime and current affairs. The grid is built on rolling Telugu bulletins through the day, with current-affairs and debate programmes on the two states' politics and special coverage of their elections. Breaking regional stories — from Hyderabad city developments to incidents across both states — lead the rundown.

A pure-play news broadcaster

The channel states that it focuses fully on news and current affairs, keeping entertainment and time-pass programming out of its schedule. Its declared editorial mission is investigative journalism: going in depth into the misuse of public funds and exposing scams without sparing political or bureaucratic figures.

CVR News belongs to Image Hospitals Group, a Hyderabad-based corporate healthcare institution with decades of experience. The group also operates the English-language sister channel CVR English and the health-focused CVR Health.
