CVM Television Live Stream

CVM Television (CVM TV) is a 24-hour free-to-air television station broadcasting for Jamaica and the wider Caribbean. The Kingston-based station has been producing programming for Jamaican audiences since its launch in 1993.

Viewers follow CVM TV for Jamaican news - the station's newscasts are among the country's most-watched - together with entertainment, sports coverage and Caribbean programming.

Three Companies, One Channel

The name CVM is an acronym for the three original shareholders granted the television licence in 1991: Community Television Systems, Videomax and Mediamix. Commercial broadcasting began in March 1993, making CVM one of the pillars of Jamaican television; today the network belongs to the VertiCast Media Group of media entrepreneur Oliver McIntosh, the former head of the Sportsmax cable channel.

Programmes

The schedule is built on the news identity of CVM News - one of the station's longest-running programmes - the sports strand CVM Sports and the breakfast show Sunrise, together with Caribbean lifestyle and entertainment programmes and overseas movie and TV productions. Under VertiCast, CVM shares a family with the Csport networks, and in 2022 the station broadcast the FIFA World Cup together with its sports sibling - the tournament's return to CVM for the first time in nearly a decade.
