Chardikla Gurbani TV is a Punjabi-language Sikh devotional channel from India and part of the Chardikla Time TV group. Its feed runs around the clock and is built on Gurbani recitation, Kirtan and religious discourse, with the channel's name drawn from the Sikh concept of Chardi Kala — a state of enduring high spirits.

A round-the-clock Gurbani feed

The grid is continuous rather than show-driven: live relays of Katha and Kirtan from gurdwaras in India and abroad, readings of the Guru Granth Sahib, religious teachings and coverage of Sikh religious events. Long-form broadcasts from major shrines — including morning and evening prayer slots — form the backbone of the schedule, aimed at viewers who keep the channel on as a devotional presence through the day.

The Chardikala group behind the channel

The broadcaster belongs to the Chardikala Group, chaired by Jagjit Singh Dardi, whose media house also publishes the Punjabi daily Daily Chardikala — in print for more than four decades — and the family magazine Monthly Charhdikala. The group's flagship television service, Chardikla Time TV, is a Punjabi news and entertainment satellite channel, complemented by a North America edition for the diaspora; the company behind the group, Chardikla Time TV Private Limited, has been registered in Punjab since 1987.

Within that family of services, Gurbani TV holds the purely spiritual slot — the group's dedicated outlet for Sikh religious broadcasting, separate from the news agenda of its sister channel.
