Puruwa TV Live Stream

Puruwa TV is the commercial name of Puruha TV, a community broadcaster based in Ecuador’s Chimborazo province and administered by the Fundación de Desarrollo Indígena de Chimborazo (FUDICH). The station says it was the province’s first intercultural community channel on free-to-air television. Its Channel 38 UHF service carries programming in Spanish and Kichwa, with a mission centered on local culture, language, identity and community development. The official site also provides the channel’s live stream, extending its regional service online.

Local news and intercultural dialogue

Puruwa’s current official pages feature Matinal Noticia (Morning News), while the schedule and programme pages present the daily interview format Rimanakuy (Dialogue). The bilingual programme brings authorities, political figures, social leaders and residents into discussion in Kichwa and Spanish. The station identifies communicator César Mendoza as its host. Its political interview podcast Sin Filtros (Without Filters) with Marco also appears in the current catalogue.

Music, sport and community programming

The station’s highlighted lineup includes El Show Mix, a varied-music programme, and Dialogando con Elvis (Talking with Elvis), alongside sports news and local reporting. Its wider remit covers educational, cultural, musical, entertainment and opinion programming. This mix connects provincial news with community voices and Ecuadorian music. Viewers can watch the Puruwa TV live stream online or tune in on UHF Channel 38 in the Riobamba area.
