Willax TV Live Stream

Willax Televisión is a Peruvian television network broadcasting from Lima. Its schedule mixes news, series and entertainment for Peruvian audiences, with a strong presence in national debate coverage.

Viewers follow Willax for Peruvian news, current-affairs programmes and entertainment formats.

A Quechua Name

The channel's name comes from the Quechua word willaq - the one who tells, the informer. Willax was first launched on the internet in 2010 and closed that year by becoming a full television channel, initially devoted exclusively to news. Its owner is Erasmo Wong Lu-Vega, and the channel belongs to his Corporación EW.

From News to Generalist

Over time the schedule diversified into a generalist mix: films of many genres, children's series and anime, magazine shows, celebrity formats and even Korean dramas, alongside the current-affairs and political programming that remains the channel's signature. Political conversation is led by well-known names such as Milagros Leiva, Beto Ortiz - whose programme Beto a saber is one of the channel's flagship talk shows - and Philip Butters, giving the channel a recognisable conservative editorial line in Peru's political debate.

The channel's live feed runs on its own portal, willax.tv.
