Sol Tv is the largest television network in northern Peru.
Sol TV is a Peruvian open television channel, which was launched in 2003 and broadcasts from the city of Trujillo. The canal belongs to the Cruzado Saucedo family.
Its origins date back to November 1, 1985, with a first radio program. Later on February 19, 1991, they are in charge of the local ATV affiliate and add regional news blocks. Around this time, Cruzado Productores was also born, which was in charge of local programming (news and sports), and remained so throughout the 1990s.
During the 2000s, the concession of the Lima channel ends and the Cruzado family decides to form their own television channel.
