TV Perú Live Stream

TV Perú is the public television network of Peru - the country's first broadcaster and the one with the widest national coverage, operated by the Instituto Nacional de Radio y Televisión del Perú. Broadcasting on channel 7 and on its TVPerú Play streaming platform, it carries news, cultural, educational and entertainment programming, and its signal also streams live online.

As the state broadcaster, TV Perú has a mandate the commercial networks do not: to reach every region of the country and to program for audiences the market overlooks - which makes it one of the most distinctive channels in Latin American public television.

The Public Grid

The programming leans heavily on culture and identity. Ñuqanchik is the newscast produced in Quechua, a milestone of indigenous-language journalism; Presencia cultural and Reportaje al Perú carry the country's heritage and regions; La colección de oro de Marco Aurelio Denegri preserves the broadcaster's legendary television archive; and Herencia viva and Ashi añane extend the same mission. Entertainment fills the schedule with Domingos de fiesta, Mediodía criollo and Que gane el mejor, while Deporte express and Geomundo cover sport and the wider world.

From 1939 Experiments to Digital Firsts

Television in Peru began as a state project: the first experimental transmission took place on 21 September 1939 from the Colegio Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe in Lima, and channel 7 was founded on 12 January 1958 as an experimental station built by UNESCO together with the Peruvian government, with studios on the twenty-second floor of the Ministry of Education. The station became the country's public network and its biggest technical pioneer - in 2010 it became the first Peruvian channel to broadcast officially on digital terrestrial television. Today it operates within IRTP alongside Radio Nacional, and its international signal, TV Perú Internacional, carries Peruvian programming to the Americas, Europe, Asia, Oceania and North Africa.

National Coverage, Streaming Worldwide

The channel's reach runs from Lima to the Amazon and the Andes, with regional programming that keeps the country's provinces on screen alongside the capital. The TVPerú Play platform and the live stream extend the signal to viewers abroad, and the channel's social presence - on Facebook, X, Instagram and TikTok - carries the same public-service journalism to every platform. For a country whose geography makes broadcasting a challenge, TV Perú is the channel built to meet it: Peru's own network, on air nationally and streaming worldwide.
