Polimer News Live Stream

Polimer News is a Tamil-language 24-hour news channel from Chennai, India, part of the Polimer media group. It covers Tamil Nadu, India and world news for Tamil-speaking audiences, positioning itself as a common, socially conscious news source.

Viewers follow Polimer News for Tamil Nadu state news, district reporting, politics, crime, cinema and sport, together with its live TV service and video news on polimernews.com.

From Salem to Chennai

The Polimer group's television story began as a local service based in Salem, reaching only a handful of western Tamil Nadu districts, before expanding across the state and moving its headquarters to Chennai. In the expanded network, Polimer News became the group's news voice: a 24-hour Tamil news service for the whole state, alongside the group's entertainment channel.

News Around the Clock

The channel's day follows the news rhythm of Tamil Nadu: state politics from Chennai, district reporting from across the state, crime and court news, cinema coverage - Tamil film industry news is a staple of the genre - and sport, together with national and world bulletins. The channel's live TV service and video news on its own portal extend the newsroom to the web, making the newsroom's output available beyond the television screen.
