Euronews Albania Live Stream
Euronews Albania is the Albanian-language franchise of Euronews, the first international media franchise established in Albania and the first franchise in the history of the Euronews group. The channel brings international news standards to Albanian viewers, covering Albania, the Balkans and the world.
The channel was launched on 21 November 2019 in partnership with the Albanian IN Media Group and broadcasts from Tirana, with offices in Pristina and Skopje. Viewers follow Euronews Albania for Albanian national news, regional Balkan coverage and international reporting, produced in Tirana with the Euronews network's format.
Six Live Editions a Day
The channel broadcasts 24 hours a day in Albanian, with six live news editions in a dynamic European format: detailed news, in-depth analysis, studio guests and expert commentary. Correspondents across Albania, Kosovo and North Macedonia, together with a Brussels desk, cover the most important events of the country, the region and the European Union.
Programs and Presenters
Euronews Now is the channel's rolling daytime news service, presented in three blocks: Esmeralda Mulaj opens the morning from 08:00 to 11:00, Thimi Samarxhiu presents the midday edition and Ilir Kazaferi closes the afternoon until early evening.
Now with Erla Mëhilla is the prime-time talk and analysis edition, running Monday to Thursday from 20:30 to 22:30 with the day's main guests and themes.
Euronews Tonight, presented by Mirela Milori, wraps up the day's events; the same journalist hosts Interview, the Sunday-evening conversation with figures from Albanian public life.
Review with Greta Topjana looks back at the week's main stories on Saturday and Sunday evenings, while Euronews Weekend with Alba Xhani keeps the rolling coverage going from morning into mid-afternoon on both days.
Inside Albania, hosted by Alice Taylor on Saturdays, examines Albanian politics and society, and Politics is the Sunday analytical edition by Enkelejda Mema.
Bota në 5 minuta (The World in Five Minutes) with Esenka Meleqi packs the day's international headlines into a short weekday bulletin, Kubi Sportiv (The Sports Cube) with Drilon Xhepollari covers sport on weekdays, and Health O'Clock with Brunilda Cami is the Sunday health magazine.
Njerëzit e Fshatit (People of the Village) travels to Albania's rural communities, giving a public voice to everyday life outside the cities.
Albanian and European Together
The schedule combines original productions with programmes from the Euronews group's international catalogue - political, economic and social themes, investigative strands, and cultural, historical and technology formats. A digital newsroom with mobile journalism keeps the channel's reporting fast and multimedia, while the free-to-air signal in Albania carries the channel on channel 21, with channel 51 on the DigitAlb platform. The channel's slogan - Euronews, All Views - sums up its ambition to make Europe speak Albanian.
