From Star Majha to ABP Majha

The channel began broadcasting in 2007 as Star Majha, the Marathi news service of MCCS — the joint venture between the ABP Group and Star India. When ABP took full control of the venture, the channel was relaunched under its present name in 2012, joining a family that now includes ABP News (Hindi), ABP Asmita (Gujarati) and ABP Ganga. ABP Majha broadcasts from Mumbai, with the group headquartered in Noida.
