TV channel Tamyr Live Stream

Telekanal Tamyr is the children's and youth television channel of Bashkortostan - the creation of the Tamyr studio at Bashkir Satellite Television, on air since 2 March 1992.

The Cradle Programme

The studio's first broadcast was Sangeldak - The Cradle - and the channel grew into the republic's dedicated service for young viewers: children's and youth programming in Bashkir and Russian, from educational shows to the region's own animated and documentary productions.

Award-Winning Regional Production

Tamyr was the first holder of the republic's Golden Orpheus award, and its 2006 film-tale Kosulya - written by Gulnaz Kulsarina and directed by Radik Fatkhiev - won festival prizes. The channel's archive spans decades of Bashkir children's television, from the Ufa studios of Bashkir Satellite TV, with programmes in Bashkir serving the republic's Bashkir-speaking audience. The broadcast reaches viewers by satellite and cable across the republic, and the archive lives on the channel's VK and YouTube pages.
