Tugan Tel Live Stream

Tugan Tel is a Tatar-language television channel broadcasting from Ufa, the capital of Bashkortostan, with news, music and cultural programs for the Tatar-speaking audience. Viewers who watch TV online can follow the channel live anywhere.

Television in the Tatar Language

Tugan Tel, whose name means Native Land, was created to serve the Tatar community: the largest national language community in Russia after Russian itself. Broadcasting from Ufa, the channel carries news and culture in Tatar to Bashkortostan, Tatarstan and the Tatar diaspora across the country and abroad.

The Sabantuy Calendar

The schedule is anchored by news editions in Tatar covering the region and the republics. Daytime hours carry music programs built on Tatar song, cultural magazines and children's programming, while evenings bring talk formats, documentaries on Tatar history and films and series. Religious and national holidays bring special live broadcasts.

Song Is the Headline

The grid combines news and public affairs with Tatar music shows, language and education programs and portrait documentaries on figures of Tatar culture. Concert recordings from the region's stages and coverage of Sabantuy and other national festivals keep the channel tied to the community's calendar.

A Tatar Newsroom

Programs are made by the channel's Ufa team, with presenters and journalists working in Tatar for a national audience. The channel's mission is as much preservation as information: keeping the language alive on screen for the next generation.
