SVT24 Live Stream

SVT24 is a Swedish public-service channel from Sveriges Television (SVT), whose television service began in 1956. Today, SVT24 shares a channel slot with SVT Barn: children’s programming runs during the day, and SVT24 takes over in the evening, usually from 21:00 to 05:30. It is not a round-the-clock news service. Its evening schedule draws on programs from SVT1, SVT2 and SVT’s broader catalogue, including repeats and editions with accessibility support.

Evening programs and accessible editions

The official SVT24 schedule for 25 October 2026 includes Spelet (The Game), Gift vid första ögonkastet XL (Married at First Sight XL), Boyfriends and Sigge får inte ligga (Sigge Can’t Get Laid). These are examples from one dated schedule, not a permanent lineup. Other evenings may feature programs first shown on SVT1, SVT2 or SVT Barn, sometimes with sign-language interpretation or audio description.

Part of Sweden’s public-service television

SVT24 is one of SVT’s linear channels and shares its broadcast slot with SVT Barn. The evening service combines repeats and accessibility-enhanced editions from across the broadcaster’s output. Its scheduled channel feed is also part of SVT’s online television offering, extending the same public-service programming beyond traditional terrestrial reception.
