WBBH NBC-2 Live Stream

WBBH NBC-2, virtual channel 20 and cable channel 2, is the NBC affiliate for Southwest Florida, licensed to Fort Myers and serving Naples, Cape Coral and the counties of Lee, Collier, Charlotte, DeSoto, Glades and Hendry. Since late 2023 the station has been branded Gulf Coast NBC under its owner, Hearst Television, whose Fort Myers-Naples HTV subsidiary runs the operation.

Viewers follow the channel for breaking news, investigations, weather and community updates across Fort Myers, Cape Coral and the wider region, with the station's own newscasts airing from early morning to late evening.

The second station in Fort Myers, since 1968

WBBH went on the air on 18 December 1968 as the second station in Fort Myers and has carried NBC programming since its first day on air, with a secondary ABC affiliation in the early years. Its call letters come from Buerry, Burgess and Hoffman, the station's original investors.

Waterman Broadcasting owned the station from 1979 to 2023, when Hearst acquired it; the studios remain on Central Avenue in Fort Myers, with the transmitter along SR 31 in unincorporated southeastern Charlotte County.

NBC2 News and the area's only Live Radar

The station's newsroom produces NBC2 News and its weather operation is built around what it bills as the area's only Live Radar for Southwest Florida, with the Gulf Coast Live Weather Radar tracking storms off the Gulf in real time.

Recent reporting has carried Gulf Coast Weather Impact Day alerts for gusty winds and heavy downpours, crime and courts coverage from the region, and Gulf Coast Gridiron for high-school football, with the morning Good Morning Gulf Coast and the evening editions anchoring the day.

The duopoly with ABC7

WBBH operates alongside Naples-licensed ABC affiliate WZVN-TV, channel 26 - an arrangement that dates to 1994, when WBBH took over most of WZVN's operations. The two stations share studios, reporters and news resources while keeping separate newscasts and anchors, and both carry Gulf Coast News branding, including the Gulf Coast News on ABC live stream.
