Kurdistan 24 is the independent Kurdish news network broadcasting from Erbil, the capital of Iraq's Kurdistan Region. Founded in 2015 by the Kurdish journalist Noreldin Waisy, it publishes in Kurdish (Sorani and Kurmanji), Arabic, English and Turkish.

Erbil's Newsroom

The network's grid covers the Kurdistan Region's politics and its contested relations with Baghdad - from the budget disputes with the federal government to the security file - alongside Iraqi national news and world affairs. Its English and Arabic services carry the region's story to audiences beyond Kurdistan.

Independent Kurdish Journalism

Founded in 2015, Kurdistan 24 built its name on independent coverage of the region: the war against ISIS on Kurdistan's frontiers, the 2017 independence referendum and the daily politics of Erbil and Baghdad. The channel streams live on kurdistan24.net.
