CRTV Live Stream

Cameroon Radio Television (CRTV) is Cameroon’s public broadcasting company, operating television and radio services. Its general television channel is described by CRTV as a public service covering national and international issues, with a remit to inform, educate, and entertain. The broadcaster also maintains dedicated services including CRTV News and CRTV Sports.

News and public service

CRTV’s official live page describes the main channel as a general-audience service for national news, international issues, and entertainment programs. Its television family gives news and sport separate identities: CRTV News focuses on news coverage, while CRTV Sports & Entertainment combines sports and entertainment content. The broadcaster also publishes presenter profiles for its news and sports services.

A national broadcaster

The organization’s roots go back to radio broadcasting in Cameroon. Television service began in 1985, and the radio and television operations were brought together under the CRTV name in 1988. This history explains why the company’s name includes both radio and television and why its services extend beyond a single TV channel.

Language and reach

CRTV serves a country with French- and English-speaking audiences, and its output includes programming in both languages. Alongside news, the official channel description confirms general entertainment; the separate sports service covers the broadcaster’s sports offer. Viewers can use CRTV’s official site to access its live TV pages and see which service is available online at a given time.
