The BBC in Arabic

BBC Arabic is the BBC's Arabic screen, part of the BBC World Service. Its grid runs on news editions, current-affairs programs and documentaries covering the Middle East and the world, produced to the BBC's standards of journalism. The service's history goes back to the BBC Arabic radio of 1938; its television channel carries the same journalism on screen.

The channel's correspondents work across the Arab world, covering the region's politics, conflicts and society for the Arabic-speaking audience.
