AZTV online - Television live

AZTV Live Stream

AzTV - Azerbaijan Television - is the country's national state channel and its oldest broadcaster, transmitting from Baku since 14 February 1956. Operated by the Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting closed joint-stock company and airing in Azerbaijani, it reaches virtually the entire population of the country, and its live signal streams online.

Soviet Roots, National Flagship

AzTV began as the Baku Television Studio in the late Soviet period, opened with the words "Göstərir Bakı!" - "This is Baku!" - and grew through the decades into the main television of an independent state. It has broadcast around the clock since 2005, switched to high definition in 2021, and today forms part of a family that also includes the sports channel İdman Azərbaycan TV and the culture channel Mədəniyyət TV. Through the Hot Bird, Galaxy 25 and Azerspace-1 satellites the channel is also received by Azerbaijani communities in Europe, North America and Asia.

Programming

The daily schedule opens with the National Anthem of Azerbaijan and is built on Xeber news bulletins, current-affairs talk shows, documentaries and magazine programmes, alongside music shows and feature films drawn from the channel's archive, which preserves Azerbaijani television production from 1956 to the present. Coverage follows the national calendar - official events, culture and sport - making AzTV the reference channel for public life in Azerbaijan.
