The channel's news service is TVA Notizie, with the first and second daily editions, alongside Bassano Notizie - from the Cassola newsroom since 2005 - TG Veneto News and TG Agricoltura. From its earliest days the grid paired the newscast with Vicenza Calcio's matches and the historic live programme Sportivamente Domenica.

From Studio A to TVA

The broadcaster was born in 1978 as the cooperative Studio A - the first television station of the Vicenza province, at via Torino 26 - before Giampietro Zenere and Mario Lavarra's Videomedia took it over as TV Studio A. Renamed TVA in 1982, the channel passed under publisher Bruno Petracca in 1986, became a S.p.A. in the 1990s and in 1999 moved into its purpose-built studios in via Fermi.

In February 2013 the group acquired a majority of TeleChiara, the Padua channel founded by the Triveneto dioceses, and since December 2014 TVA Vicenza has been part of Consorzio Reti Nordest, the consortium of the North-East's principal television networks.
