QTV Gambia Live Stream

QTV is a privately run television channel from the Gambia that brands itself as “a new era in broadcasting”. The channel combines its own news and current affairs output with entertainment, sport, culture, religion and lifestyle programming, and operates alongside a sister radio station, QRadio.

News and current affairs

QTV's newsroom produces QTV News and bulletins in the Gambia's local languages, while the weekly The Week in Review with Ade Daramy dissects the main stories with guests. Current-affairs formats include The Viewpoint and Kacha Dula, and the channel has carried extensive coverage of the national Truth, Reconciliation and Reparations Commission (TRRC). BBC Focus on Africa is also part of the schedule, connecting Gambian viewers to pan-African news.

Religion, culture and entertainment

Religious programming is a pillar of the schedule: Mimbar al Noor presents renowned Gambian Islamic scholar Dr. Omar Jah's weekly reflections on Islamic issues, alongside Jigeen Islam, Friday Jummah prayers and the discussion format Al-Hiwaar. Entertainment ranges from Saturday Splash, Gamvibes and the talent search Rising Stars Africa to films in the Mumbai Magic strand, while comedy comes from Korka's Street Talk and The Wagan Show. Sport has its own strand in QSports and Boreh Bi, and cultural programmes such as Bantaba complete the line-up.

From satellite to streaming

QTV distributes its signal by satellite across the region and streams live online, carrying its schedule to audiences in the Gambia and the Gambian diaspora abroad on any device.
